Nemo AI™ is the Artificially Intelligent onboard, autonomous marine
navigation system. In this adventure Captain Nemo is essential to the plot as the
autopilot helps John and Dan to navigate in treacherous waters in
stealth mode, very efficiently, so increasing the versatility of the
Elizabeth Swann. Making full use of the onboard instruments and sonar
array for close to shore littoral missions. A very useful ally and
copilot in this John Storm adventure, to overcome the Triad plot to start World
War Three.
Captain
Nemo is fully COLREGs compliant, with digital eyes on board, and an
advanced object recognition database, that self-learns to update itself,
as the Elizabeth Swann encounters new boats, ships and submarines.
Captain
Nemo AI™ works with Hal AI™, the onboard ship management AI
computer, to optimize ship running efficiency and monitor solar energy,
battery condition and methanol fuel tanks.
Hal's
AI algorithm is advanced and self learning. Hal in turn interfaces with
the CyberCore Genetica, for some turbocharged problem solving. As in
this adventure. A real world challenge against several extremely
intelligent programmers from across the globe.
While
Hal AI™ monitors the ship's systems, fuel
cells and methanol
tanks for range and performance. The AI interfaces with Captain
Nemo, a very advanced autonomous
marine navigation
system. Captain
Nemo is in turn connected to the onboard instruments and sensors.
With ultra fast web surfing, including receiving and analyzing
media and news feeds, Hal not only knows all about his geographical
position, but also what is going on around him all over planet
earth.
