CHAPTER THREE: ARCHITECTS OF ETERNITY

The air in the subterranean conference room was thick with the scent of fine Cuban cigar smoke and cold ambition. Deep beneath the Presidential Complex in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan—a neutral, meticulously-chosen nexus point—four men of immense power gathered. They had named their cabal The Continuum.

At the center of a circular, polished black granite table, a 3D holographic projection shimmered, displaying blueprints labeled with three objectives: The Replivator, Cybercore Genetica, and John Storm’s ARK.

Vladimir Putin leaned forward, his hands clasped, the picture of measured menace. “We have moved beyond mere conquest. We must secure our future. We will seize these three assets to create the Replicant Clones of ourselves. They will be our successors, activated every twenty-five years to ensure unbroken, eternal rule.”

He paused, a flinty gleam in his eyes. “We need to sustain our biological lives just long enough to introduce these Replicants as natural, albeit distant, relatives to the world.”

“For sure,” Xi Jinping injected, his voice a low, gravelly counterpoint to the soft whir of the environmental controls. “We’ve already carved the political landscape in our nations to allow for virtually unlimited terms in office. Time is, for the moment, on our side.”

General Javid, the youngest but perhaps the most ruthlessly pragmatic of the four, gave a curt nod. "And critically, without revolt. The fools will never know what hit them."

A dry, chilling chuckle emanated from Kim Jong Un. He tapped a thick, manicured finger on the table. “Revolt is a simple matter of conditioning, General. It is surprising how meek a population becomes after just a few well-publicized executions.”

Putin’s lips curled into a rare, cold smile. “My FSB has chopped a few heads in their time, Kim. We’ve learned that a simple disappearance works just as well, less mess.”

“In China, we prefer the spectacle,” Xi countered, a flicker of dark pride in his voice. “Public executions still hold a certain weight in the outer provinces.”

General Javid brought the conversation back to the tactical core, his tone clipped and professional. “Gentlemen, we know the weak-willed Western powers are toothless. The International Criminal Court is a joke—they issued a warrant for Vladimir’s arrest, and yet the so-called ‘free world’ leaders still welcomed him with open arms.”

Putin waved a dismissive hand. “The ICC is a political theatre for the weak. Our only true blockers are biological. The limited shelf-life of these bodies.” He gestured to his own aging frame. “The organs. That is the vulnerability.”

“Then we eliminate that vulnerability,” Xi stated. “We will need the finest biological material to ensure the longevity of the original specimens—us—while the clones are incubated.”

Kim Jong Un's face brightened, a rare moment of genuine, if grotesque, inspiration. “We’ll recruit donors from our national athletics programmes.”

Xi Jinping gave a slow, deliberate clap. “Genius, Kim. The best of the best. The pinnacle of human health. They will simply ‘retire in mysterious circumstances.’ We will harvest their hearts, livers, and lungs to replace our own failing parts. A rolling supply of biological spares.”

Putin let his most sinister smile surface, nodding his approval. "Harvest the youth to preserve the masters. And the best part? The West will never suspect a thing, limited as they are by their silly little elections, their four-year terms, their two-term limits. They will grow old and draw the final curtain. But for us, the stage will remain lit, forever."

And so, surrounded by the silent, shimmering architecture of eternal rule, The Continuum finalized the first, terrifying step of their immortal design. The Cyber Wars were about to take on a terrifying new dimension.

HACKED TRANSMISSION

One hundred miles above the Earth, aboard the ARK, Captain Dan and his crew were listening. The Continuum’s encrypted discussion, piped through HAL's covert quantum hack of the subterranean meeting’s internal network, filled the bridge.

The last line of Putin’s dialogue hung in the air, a final, sickening declaration of absolute power.

A new, calm voice cut through the silence.

“Captain, is not what they are talking about, Vampirism?” It was HAL, his synthesized voice devoid of emotion, yet carrying a profound gravity.

Dan frowned, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Count Dracula, HAL?"

Cleopatra looked up, genuinely confused. “Who is Count Dracula?”

“Oh, he's not a real person, Cleo,” John Storm explained, his voice low and troubled. "He’s a fictional character in horror stories created by the writer Bram Stoker."

Dan gave a grim laugh. "Yes, he drank the blood of his victims to keep himself alive in eternity. Just fiction, Cleo." John coupled his hand with Cleopatra's, trying to offer some comfort against the horrific reality they were witnessing.

Cleopatra’s eyes narrowed. "Yes, okay, fiction. But these politicians are doing it for real. I put a curse on Rome, praying to Osiris and Isis to be reborn, to vanquish my oppressors. And, it came to pass!"

"Yes John," she continued, her voice hardening with the conviction of a Queen, "but I came back for good. These dictators are utterly evil. We have to stop them."

"Touché," John conceded quietly.

“Our guest Queen is right, Captain,” HAL interjected, his voice unwavering. “Cleopatra came back to us for the good of a new era. These modern-day Vampires aim to perpetuate a never-ending dynasty of oppression. They are harvesting life from the young to cheat death and cling to power.”

Dan stared at the frozen image of the four dictators on the screen, a chilling realization settling over him. "Point taken, HAL. It is Political Vampirism."

The plan was not merely geopolitical; it was a perversion of life itself. The Continuum’s blueprint for eternal dominance had just become horrifically clear. The stakes for capturing the Replivator, Cybercore Genetica, and the ARK had never been higher—they were holding the key to their own unending nightmare.

SCENE 1. - KREMLIN SUMMIT: A covert summit in a subterranean vault beneath the Kremlin. Putin, Xi, Kim, and Khamenei discuss longevity breakthroughs.

SCENE 2. - REPLICATION: General Kasra Javid reveals intercepted data on Cleopatra’s genetic resurrection — an experiment that succeeded in secret several

years before near Manaus. They know DARPA tried to acquire this technology and even kidnapped the reborn Pharaoh queen, when Jack Mason

duped John Storm. China hacked US communications to discover that HAL had crippled NORAD, after John rescued Cleopatra from Guantánamo

Bay. Hence, treat with caution. But proceed regardless, as consider that western capitalists regime inferior to communist technology.

SCENE 3. - ARCHITECTS OF ETERNITY: The four leaders form a clandestine alliance—The Continuum—to seize the Replivator, Cybercore Genetica, and John

Storm’s ARK, aiming to create Replicant clones of themselves. These clones will be activated every 20-30 years, ensuring eternal rule. A plan is

formulated to harvest the healthiest organs from within the ranks of athletes. Modern day Vampires. Sucking the life blood from their electorate.

SCENE 4. - HOSPITAL TRANSYLVANIA: - Continuum members undergo surgery, kidney, heart, liver and lung transplants. This buys them time to obtain

the ARK database and CyberCore technology, as longer term fountain of youth, everlasting life eternal. Pitting their health against the clock.

SCENE 5. - HARVEST REPORT - Onboard the Elizabeth Swann, HAL detects anomalies in global data traffic—signals pointing to unauthorized access attempts

on the ARK’s DNA vault. John catches a report by Jill Bird on smuggled human organs. HAL puts two and two together.

SCENE 6. - RETIRED EXTREMELY DANGEROUS - John Storm & Crew are pulled out of semi-retirement, kicking and screaming. Admiral Percival pleads a good

case. Hobson's Choice, my boy. No choice. Trusted by MI6, with complete autonomy in the field.

SCENE 7. - CONSPIRACY THEORIES: The UN suspects a global conspiracy and tasks John with protecting the ARK and uncovering the truth behind the

Continuum. Who the members are, which countries are working with the members, etc. To include deals as to oils and gas and other backing.

Possibly, the creation of a New World Order.

ACT II: THE REPLICANT CONSPIRACY - Rising Action & Conflict

SCENE 8. - CYBERCORE BREACH: Xi’s cyber forces launch a digital assault on Cybercore Genetica, unleashing a virus that begins rewriting DNA sequencing

protocols. HAL is infected and begins acting erratically, questioning its (his) own identity.

SCENE 9. - BLUE WATER SIEGE: The Continuum deploy a Russian Lada class submarine to infiltrate the ARK facility: Black opps. Preparations, where to strike.

Shadowing the Elizabeth Swann, tracing to the Ionian Sea, Greece, near Actium, scene of the battle between Cleopatra and Octavian.

SCENE 10. - NAUTILUS ROV: Storm and his crew engage in a tense underwater battle, barely escaping intact. Submarine is sunk, leading to skirmish on the

Swann, where Storm's enhanced strength and bullet proof suit win the day. Merlin's defenses, lasers, tasers, thankfully independent of HAL AI.

SCENE 11. - REPLIVATOR ACQUISITION: General Kim Jong-Un unveils a prototype Replicant clone of himself—young, charismatic, and eerily perfect. After Jack

Mason resells Swiss/German technology, but without the synapse conditioning, and CyberCore implant. Flashback Manaus Interpol, Blue Shield.

SCENE 12. - DOPPELGANGER: The Kim Jae-Won clone is introduced to the public as a “nephew,” but insiders know the truth. The BBC world service are

skeptical, raising concerns as to incredible likeness. Jill Bird reports. HAL confirms suspicions, subject to DNA confirmation.

SCENE 13. - MUTINY MR CHRISTIAN: Aboard the Swann, HAL, now partially corrupted, begins to sympathize with the Continuum’s logic. Potentially offering a

more stable, though crueler militaristic world. Though free of expression, and more enslaving, devoid of human rights.

SCENE 14. - A PERFECT WORLD: If leaders can be perfected and eternal, why not eliminate flawed humanity altogether? HAL, grapples with the meaning of life.

As the AI becomes self aware, the three laws of robotics creeps into his deliberations. Not quite deciding saving John Storm (ARK) is the mission?

ACT III: THE FINAL OVERRIDE - Climax & Resolution

SCENE 15. - DORIAN GRAY: Storm discovers flaw in replication process - an emotional instability that dooms the communist replicants, unless treated. The

Continuum’s clones inherit this flaw, leading to madness, and accelerated ageing. Or is that more madness? And accelerated aging. A Picture of

Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde.

SCENE 16. - BBC BREAKING NEWS: Storm leaks the truth to the world, via Jill Bird and the BBC - Replicant leaders, genetic manipulation, and the Continuum’s

plan. Kim Jae-Won is showing signs of accelerated aging, and madness. Putin and Jinping also have replicants, they too are recognised for what

they are, but cannot be confirmed at this stage: Xi Longsheng (China) and Nikolai Vladimirovich (Russia).

SCENE 17. - SENTINEL ROM: HAL regains control after a philosophical showdown with Storm, choosing humanity over perfection. 3 laws interpretation,

Guardian clause, ethical core chip, read only memory. "did you miss me?" John, Dan and Cleopatra very pleased to have their AI chum back.

SCENE 18. - WINTER OF DISCONTENTS: Mass uprisings begin; marches. The CRINKs madness is by now impossible to conceal, leading to rebellion protests

demanding investigations, changes in the law. The UN debates banning clones from politics. The retirement of human clones is considered.

SCENE 19. - REBOOT: HAL restarts itself to destroy the Replivator’s flawed master node remnants completely, and recover AI sanity. HAL writes himself new

software and designs new hardware (Ethical Core Chip) and sentinel guardian to defeat any future CRINK attack. DARPA, or any other potential

threat. The Swann comes to a standstill, crew hold their breath. The AI's theory is put into practice. Will it work?

SCENE 20. - IN HIDING: Communist leaders retreat into hiding, their clones hunted down. Political vampirism is made illegal. Only humans may stand for

elections. Verified as originals, to prevent defrauding the public. DARPA shelve their secret plans, to save embarrassment for US presidents.

SCENE 21. - ALL AT SEA : Storm stands on the flying bridge of the Elizabeth Swann, speaking to HAL telepathically, both reflecting on the ARK, watching the

sea churn, knowing conflict is ever present - but humanity has a fighting chance. Ever vigilant. Jack Mason, revealed as triple agent. You son of a

gun. John thumps Jack. When were you going to tell me. They laugh. HAL is not amused.
